My story starts with thirty years of marriage and a journey to India each decade.

From that first trip in 1994, we were dedicated to going off the beaten path and diving beyond the idealized Western stereotypes of India. We wanted to know the stories and lives behind every transaction we made. Along the way, we came to greatly respect and appreciate the individuals and the cultures of India. We knew that when retirement came, India would call.​

 

While India does have sari, elephants, tigers, rickshaws, and chai, India is home to twenty-eight unique states and union territories. Each has its own culture, language, and handicrafts. My goal is to share the delight we have found in the people and places of India.  With Indigo Origins, I'm thrilled to bring your clients and customers closer to the craftsmanship at the beating heart of India.
